We need:
Shrimp 1 pound
Gongura/ sorrel leaves 1 pound
Green chillies 3
Onions chopped 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 1/2 sp
Chilli powder 1sp
Haldi 1/2 sp
Salt to taste
Garam masala 1sp
Cilantro chopped 1/2 cup
Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
Heat a small pan addfew drops of oil and add washed shrimp and pinch of haldi.
Mix well and cook for few mits. Keep aside
In another pan add 1 sp oil and washed gongura and green chillies, cook till the leaves change color and let it cool.
Now make a paste of cooked gongura and green chillies, add water if required.
Heat a presser cooker and add oil.
Add chopped onions.
Add salt and cook till onions are brown.
Add the cooked shrimp and saute for few mits.
Now add gongura paste and mix well.
Add 1/2 cup water and presser cook.
Remove lid and cook further if any excess water is leftout.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
