Hi friends,
Today is the last day of BM#12 group 1. Hope u all liked the Rajasthani recipes. I havent made any sweet dish from Rajasthan. So today's recipe is a sweet dish. Its called Kesari Bhaat. here goes the recipe....
We need:
Rice 1cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Saffron few strands
Ghee/ butter 1sp
Cashew and raisins 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder 1/4 sp
Method:
Soak rice in water for 30minutes.
Heat pan and add ghee.
Add cashew and raisins and saute for till raisins puff up.
Remove and keep aside.
Add soaked rice and saute till rice separates.
Now add 1 1/2 cup of boiling water and saffron strands.
Cook till half done and add sugar.
Cook till rice is completely cooked.
Now add cardamom powder , fried cashew and raisins.
Serve hot.

nice one, if it is cooked with soji then it is karnataka dish is it? because i see this in karnataka done with soji.
