Its summer time in USA, kids are home and moms are busy thinking how to keep them busy. If you do not keep them busy they will try to keep you busy, hahahahha. Every 1/2 hour they are hungry and keep asking for snack. Today I made them make their own cookies. They were more excited when I said "we are gonna make chocolate chip cookies with nutella". My daughter was all set with her spatula and whisk.
Yes, for day 2 under the theme "Nutella Galore", I made chocolate chips cookies, with a surprise ingredient which you can find when you just take a small bite of it. You heard it right, nutella in a cookies, which makes the chocolate chips cookies more delicious than before. Here goes the recipe for delicious and melt in mouth soft cookies with the goodness of nutella.
Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter 1 stick
Flour 2 cups
Vanilla extract 1 spoon
Eggs 2
Sugar 1 cup
Baking soda 1 table spoon
Chocolate chips 3/4 cup
Nutella
Preparation:
Preheat oven on 350 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl add softened butter and sugar.
Using hand blender or whisk blend it well to become a soft crumbly mixture
Now add eggs and vanilla extract, blend it together to make a soft batter.
In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients together, flour and baking soda.
Now add add 1/2 of the flour to egg mixture and fold it well.
Now add another 1/2 flour and mix well to become soft dough.
Now add chocolate chips and mix well.
Take small amount of dough and flatten with your fingers.
Place little amount of nutella in the center of the dough and grab the edges to fold into center to seal the nutella from all the sides..
Grease the baking tray and place each ball 1 inch apart.
Bake on 350 degrees F for about 12 to 14 minutes.
Remove and let the cookies rest to cool down completely.
Delicious and chocolaty soft chocolate chip cookies with nutella are ready to serve.
