Balila

Balila is a Levantine / Lebanon dish consisting of cooked chickpeas with lime juice, fresh garlic,

cumin powder, salt and Olive oil. It is known as poor man's dish in Lebanon. Making Balila is super

simple. It is served warm with some pita bread on side. Balila is highly nutritious  dish rich in

protein, fiber, iron, calcium and Vitamin C. Fresh garlic in this dish helps boost your immunity,

which makes it a  perfect dish for winter.
